Ford

Grown up on a farm, Henry Ford had a lot of personal interest in developing affordable farm tractors. Ford entered the farm tractor market with its Fordson model in 1917, which was revolutionary at the time; the reason being its affordability and much smaller design. Ford brought farm tractors to the average small farmer and forever changed the agriculture farming.

Ford incorporated the Ford name for the 1939 9N tractor. Designed by Harry Ferguson this tractor was highly innovative, with other tractor manufacturers eventually adopting the three point hitch weight transfer system.
